The Tamaskan Dog was first imported into America from UK in 2005 and quickly developed its own group of followers. When 4 more Tamaskans were imported in 2007 from its country of origin, Finland,  The National Tamaskan Club of America was then set up to accommodate the expected flood of new interest.

On Jan 15th 2007, a small but passionate group of Tamaskan owners and breeders founded The National Tamaskan Club of America.  We are dedicated to promoting and preserving America's Tamaskan Dogs.

We welcome anyone who owns or is interested in the Tamaskan Dog to become members of the NTCA. Membership keeps you informed of up coming events, new imports, litters due and on the ground. Membership fees help pay our young club for the expenses of starting up our new club as well as  for club shows and get-togethers in the future. The NTCA newsletter will be a welcome addition for 2009 members and we encourage members to contribute articles, pictures and stories.
